Major Jason T. Spicer

 
 

Major Jason Spicer is the Director of Operations, and Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies, Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps, Detachment 855, Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, and Utah Valley University, Orem, Utah. He is responsible to the Detachment Commander for training and educating Air Force officer candidates. As an AETC Master Instructor, he instructs 200 cadets annually in support of Aerospace minor and Air Force commissioning requirements.  

Major Spicer earned his commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Brigham Young University in 2009. He is a Senior Air Battle Manager and has operational experience on the E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) B/C and G models, as well as more than 1,200 combat hours as a Senior Director in the Control and Reporting Center (CRC). He has over 900 flying hours, including 387 combat hours as an Air Surveillance Officer in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
