Captain Erin J. Pineda


Captain Erin J. Pineda serves as the Recruiting Flight Commander and an Instructor of Aerospace Studies with the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corp (AFROTC), Detachment 855 at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah. In this capacity she recruits and trains diverse individuals to become future leaders in the United States Air Force.

Captain Pineda received her commission in 2013 from the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). Following graduation of the Intelligence Officer Course, Captain Pineda was stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base (AFB) where she provided intelligence analysis in support of current operations, plans, and targeting for the global space mission. Prior to her current position, the captain was the Chief of the Senior Intelligence Duty Officer Team, 614th Air Operations Center, Vandenberg AFB, Calif.
