Major John R. Young

 
 

Captain Young is currently the Assistant Operations Officer at AFROTC Detachment 855.  Prior to this assignment, he was the Director of Readiness at the 67th Aerial Port Squadron, Hill AFB, UT, serving as a reservist in the 419th Fighter Wing.  Major Young graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Soil Science in 2005.  He commissioned through the Air Force Academy of Military Science in February 2007.
